Evil Plans: Connecting The Dots and Thinking Big

I recently finished reading Hugh’s newest book entitled EVIL PLANS.

Hugh started (and shipped!) doodling cartoons on the back of business cards in a bar many years ago.

Now…it is his business.

I (we) created an evil plan a few years ago.

I resigned from ESPN, and The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. I also let go of my private practice, which meant parting ways with clients that I’d had for *10* years.

What was my (our!) evil plan?

Move to Texas.

If you were to ask many (most!?) people, they would probably say we didn’t have a plan.

It would go something like this, “They had no money, only one car (2001 Jetta), no jobs *and* no place to live.”

(Perspective)

If you were to ask me…I would say, we had a plan, but it didn’t work out like we planned.

Recently, my wife told our story to a client she had just met.  Her client’s response; “You had a plan…a plan to succeed”. (emphasis added.)
